How to delete all UPI mandates and subscriptions in 1 click
Six mandates, four apps, each hiding behind a different menu. That is why deleting all your UPI mandates and subscriptions feels like an afternoon's work. It does not have to be — the whole list can sit on one screen.

Why there is no single wipe-everything button
Each UPI mandate is a separate e-mandate with its own reference number, so UPI cancels them one at a time. What you can do is bring them all into one list and clear them with a single tap each, instead of hunting app by app.
The reason this works: a mandate can be cancelled from any UPI app linked to that bank account, not only the app where it was created. One list, one account, every mandate.
The fastest way to clear the whole list
- Open a UPI app linked to the account: PhonePe → profile icon → Manage AutoPay; Google Pay → profile picture → Autopay; Paytm → profile icon → UPI Automatic Payments → Manage; BHIM → Mandate → My Mandates.
- Scroll the full list and note each merchant, amount and next debit date.
- Decide keep or kill for each one before you start tapping.
- Open each unwanted mandate and tap Cancel AutoPay / Turn off / Revoke, then confirm.
- Save every confirmation message.
- If you have multiple bank accounts, switch the linked account and repeat.
Finish the job with the merchants
Cancelling the mandate stops the money leaving your account. It does not close your account with the merchant, so go into each app or website and cancel the subscription there too. Skip this and you may still owe them, even though no debit is going through.
While clearing the list, keep the mandates you actually need — insurance premiums, mutual fund SIPs and credit card bill payments are exception categories that run up to ₹1,00,000 without AFA, and cancelling one by accident can break a payment you rely on.
One important note
Never revoke a loan EMI mandate without setting up another way to pay. Cancelling mandates does not affect your CIBIL score in general, but a missed EMI genuinely does.
FAQ
Will the leftover mandates stop by themselves? No. They run until their end date; nothing expires early.
What if a debit above ₹15,000 slips through? It should not — the AFA rule pauses it for your UPI PIN, outside the exception categories.
Conclusion
You cannot wipe every mandate with one button, but you can see them all in one place and clear each in a single tap. Do it once, then check monthly.
