About CancelUPIAutoPay
cancelupiautopay.com
The name is the whole product idea: cancel UPI AutoPay. Nothing clever, because people searching for this are not in the mood for clever — they just watched money leave their account.
The problem
UPI AutoPay takes about eight seconds to set up. You enter your UPI PIN once, and from then on a merchant can pull money from your account on a schedule without asking again.
Finding it later is the hard part. The mandate does not expire when you stop using the service. It sits in a screen most people have never opened, under a name they do not recognise, and it keeps charging. Meanwhile the money leaves quietly enough that months can pass before anyone notices.
That asymmetry — seconds to start, a hunt to stop — is what we are trying to fix.
What we do
- Guides. Step-by-step instructions for the specific app, bank or service that is charging you — because the steps genuinely differ between PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm and each bank.
- In plain language. Bank pages explain mandates in jargon. We write the steps the way you would explain them to a friend — no assumed knowledge, no terms left undefined.
- A free app. It lists the auto-pay mandates active on your account in one place, so you do not have to check each app separately.
How we write
Every guide teaches the manual method fully, then mentions the app. If you can solve your problem in your own UPI app in two minutes, we would rather you did that and left happy. A guide that withholds the answer to force an install is a bad guide.
We also try to say the uncomfortable parts out loud: that cancelling a mandate stops the payment but not the subscription, and that cancelling an EMI mandate without arranging another payment can hurt your credit score.
What we are not
We are an independent publisher. We are not a bank, not NPCI, not a payment operator, and not affiliated with any UPI app. We never ask for your UPI PIN, password or OTP — nobody legitimate ever will.
